Temazcal ceremony

The temazcal ceremony is a ritual steam bath of Mesoamerican origin (Nahuatl: temazcalli, "house of steam") that symbolizes the womb of Mother Earth. More than a hygiene technique, it is a spiritual experience of death and rebirth that seeks to purify body, mind, and soul.

The temazcal is a circular or dome-shaped structure, usually made of adobe or stone, that represents the maternal womb. Upon entering, one symbolically returns to the origin to be healed by the four elements: earth (the structure), fire (the heat of the stones), air (the steam), and water (the herbal infusion).
The ceremony is guided by a temazcalero or shaman and is generally divided into four phases or "gates," each dedicated to a direction of the universe or aspect of life: Preparation: Participants are cleansed with copal smoke before entering. Planting of the Grandmothers: Red-hot volcanic stones (called "grandmothers" for their ancestral wisdom) are placed in the center of the structure. The Steam: The guide pours water with medicinal herbs (such as rosemary, basil, or eucalyptus) over the stones, creating an aromatic steam called atlachinolli. Chants and Prayers: In total darkness, the attendees chant traditional songs accompanied by drums to facilitate introspection and emotional release.

Main Benefits
Physical: Detoxifies the skin through sweat, clears the airways, improves circulation, and relieves muscle or menstrual pain.
Spiritual: Reduces stress, combats insomnia, and allows for a deep connection with oneself and one's ancestors.

Complete Energetic cleansing

Cleansing rituals are ancestral practices of traditional Mexican medicine that seek to restore balance between body, mind, and spirit. Originating in the pre-Hispanic worldview of peoples such as the Mexica and Maya, these practices have merged with colonial elements to endure to this day as a tool for healing and protection.

1. Egg Cleansing: This is a diagnostic and healing method where the egg acts as a spiritual magnet.

2. Cleansing with Copal
The person is smudged with copal, serving as a bridge between the earthly and spiritual worlds. Its smoke purifies the soul and protects against negative influences.

3-Cleansing with Herbs (also known as "rameada") uses fresh plants to expel negativity from the body.
Rue (to remove what is troubling), rosemary (to strengthen the spirit), basil, pepper tree, and bay leaf.
It treats "fright," "mal de aire" (a type of illness), and rebalances vital energy in key areas such as the crown of the head and the heart.

V steaming

The female steaming ceremony (also known as v-steaming or "yoni baths") is an ancestral practice that uses steam infused with medicinal plants for the physical and spiritual care of the uterus and vagina.
Symbolism: It is a ritual of reconnection with the "sacred feminine" and the vital energy that resides in the womb.
Concept of "Coldness": In Mexican tradition, it is used to combat "coldness" in the womb, which is believed to cause pain and imbalances.

Preparation: Water is boiled with a handful of organic herbs (such as rue, rosemary, chamomile, or calendula).
The Session: The woman sits on a special container or chair that allows the steam to reach the genital area, covering herself with a long blanket to retain the heat.

Duration: It usually lasts between 15 and 20 minutes.

It is recommended to do it before going to sleep to conserve body heat. Attributed Benefits: Physical: Helps relax pelvic muscles, reduce menstrual cramps, regulate the cycle, and support postpartum recovery. Emotional: Used to "cleanse memories" of the uterus, release stagnant emotions, and reduce anxiety.

Important Precautions: It is essential to be careful with the temperature to avoid serious burns.

It should NOT be performed in the following cases:
During menstruation (active bleeding). During pregnancy. If you have an IUD (the heat may dislodge it or damage the material).
In the presence of acute vaginal infections or open wounds.

Sobada Maya plus Rebozo

The Mayans say that the navel is one of our 5 hearts, which becomes unbalanced when suffering from some disease, energetic, physical, emotional or spiritual, so it is important to put it back in its correct place. It is a unique experience since it has a completely traditional Mexican process that has been passed down from generation to generation.

It requires prior preparation, so it is recommended to be flexible when scheduling an appointment since it needs special prepare therapists. The Mayan massage is a massage of ancestral origin, it is part of our ancestral heritage, so different fundamental elements are required, such as oils and shawls, to perform an adjustment to the skeletal system, an energetic cleansing and an adjustment to the female matrix (only if necessary, of course).

Rebozo is a tool that helps us achieve balance and well-being in the body by arranging the bones, tendons, and muscles in harmony and rearranging them in their proper place, giving you peace and tranquility and achieving absolute relaxation for your body.

The Rebozo

Traditional Mexican rebozo therapy (also known as "manteada") is a bodywork and ritual technique from traditional Mexican medicine. A long piece of woven fabric (the rebozo) is used to massage, rock, stretch, and support the body. Although it originates from ancestral midwifery, today it is applied for general well-being and stress relief.
It relieves compression in the spine and pelvis without direct hand contact.
The "Hip Closure" Ritual (Postpartum): The postpartum period is a key stage for this therapy: Energy Closure: Symbolizes the closing of a physical and emotional cycle after having "opened" to give life.
Skeletal Adjustment: Seven key body points (from head to toe) are wrapped and firmly pressed.
Physical Support: Helps the pelvic organs and bones gradually return to their proper position.
General Benefits: Deep reduction of stress and anxiety. Relief from tension in the neck, shoulders, and jaw. Improved digestion through gentle abdominal massage. Stimulation of blood circulation and lymphatic drainage.

Cupping therapy

Cupping therapy in Mexico is a traditional and complementary therapeutic method that involves applying glass, plastic, or clay cups to the skin to create a vacuum effect. The vacuum, generated by heat, is used to "release trapped air" from the body, relieve indigestion, treat back pain caused by cold, accelerate muscle recovery in athletes, release fascia, and treat chronic contractures.

Main Benefits
Pain Relief: Relaxes tense muscles and reduces inflammation in areas such as the back and neck.
Improved Circulation: Increases local blood flow, which accelerates cell repair and toxin elimination.
Myofascial Release: Separates layers of connective tissue, improving flexibility and range of motion.
Nerve Stimulation: Activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting deep relaxation.
